Situated in the North Coast of Madeira Island, on the lower part with view to the mountain and to the sea. The ancient house now, completely remodelled, invites you for a compulsory stop and for a rest among the vineyards around.
It is one of the most ancient Manor Houses from Ponta Delgada. In 1996 it was transformed into four apartments. The main house with 3 T-1 and T-0 (studio). On the ground floor we can find a T-0 and a T-1 with connecting doors being possible this way to accommodate a family. Having direct communication with a leisure area integrated into a small but lovely garden, a rustical wine press and a barbeque. The other two apartments on the main house are located on the upper part of the house and have a balcony, from where a breath taking view either to the mountain and to the sea can be enjoyed.
In 2003 the owners decided to built 8 more T1 apartments, swimming pool for adults and for children, a small and very nice bar with esplanade and a bigger car parking.
On the hillside above the apartments is the “little chapel” – “Capela dos Reis Magos” from which the house takes its name. Dating from the 16th century, this is currently being restored and guests are welcome to visit. In between the house and the chapel, the gardens have been terraced to create several levels in which to relax and enjoy the views down towards the ocean, and a barbecue is also provided here for guests to use.
Now with 12 self catering apartments (11 one bedroom apartments and one studio), all are comfortably furnished and have TV sets, modern bathrooms (with bathtubs in the apartments, shower in the studio), and open plan kitchens with a fridge, a hob, a microwave oven and coffe machine.
Good connection trails to the levadas also to the local swimming pool. There is a cleaner every day except for weekends and bank holidays.
