Where can I find the best rate? 

Our best rate is through our website. Check out our available dates and rates here. If you find better rates on another site, give us a call at +351 966 002 198 or send us a message at mail@casadacapelinha.com. Once we locate and verify the live rate over the phone we will price match. 

What is the cancellation policy?

Guests are able to cancel up to 7 days prior to check-in for a full refund.

What are the current COVID-19 protocols at Casa da Capelinha?

Madeira island is considered one of the safest destinations in Europe. At Casa da Capelinha we are adhering to the Regional Government of Madeira’s COVID-19 protocols. What are the room amenities? 

Each room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. Check out our gallery for more photos of the apartment. 

Do you have a restaurant on property? 

Our bar & restaurant, Baixa’s Cafe is located on property and is open Monday through Saturday from 3:00 - 10:00 . We are closed on Sundays

Do you serve breakfast?

No, we do not serve breakfast. Each apartment has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee machine and toaster.

Are pets allowed? 

Pets are not allowed.

Do you have room service? 

Yes, we offer room service from our restaurant Baixa’s Cafe. Click here for our menu and hours of operation. For room service orders guests can message us or call us at +351 966 002 198.

Do you have a pool and a jacuzzi? 

We have a lovely outdoor pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We do not have a jacuzzi.

Do you offer parking?

We have free parking available on site.

Do you have a gym on the property?

No we do not have a gym onsite. 

Do you have WiFi?

WiFi is available in all apartments and is included in your stay. The passwd is at the reception door.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and American Express. 

What activities do you have on site? 

We have an outdoor pool for guests to enjoy, a game room with a pool table (additional charge) and solarium for relaxing. There are many activities to do in the surrounding area. Check out our location page to learn more.

Do you have cots available?

Yes, we have cots and cribs available upon request. Free of charge.

Do you have connecting apartments?

Yes, we have one studio and one bedroom apartment that can be connected. 

Do you charge for extra for children?

We do not charge for children under 2 years old.

When is check-in and out times?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. We will reach out a day before the reservation to get a better idea of guests’ arrival time. 

Can I request an early check-in? 

Early check-ins are based on availability on day of arrival. Please call us at +351 966 002 198 prior to your arrival for more information. 

I confirmed through a third-party, how do I make changes or cancel that reservation? 

We are unable to modify or cancel third-party reservations. Contact the company directly that you confirmed with. 

What are book direct benefits? 

We offer exclusive perks for guests who book directly by calling our hotel or reserving on our website. Our current Book Direct Benefits includes a complimentary welcome drink at Baixa’s Cafe.

What is your smoking policy?

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartments, game room and Baixa’s Cafe. We strongly advise to not smoke in the swimming pool area, but it is not forbidden.

Are there restaurants in the area you would recommend?

How far is the airport?

The Funchal airport is about 57 km away and about a 50-minute drive. We recommend renting a car for your stay on the island. We can also provide a recommended taxi service company.
