A House with History.

Casa da Capelinha has been in the Canha family for over 200 years and run by couples Carlos and Maria da Paz, João and Isabel. Carlos and Maria love to restore traditional buildings of Madeira so people from around the world can enjoy them.

Casa da Capelinha is a lovingly restored Madeiran manor house with a quaint 16th-century chapel in the village of Ponta Delgada. At our home you will experience the authentic Madeira. Our location allows guests a great base to explore the renowned Laurisilva Forest, the Porto Moniz natural pools and other attractions on the island.
