A House with Deep Roots in Madeira

Casa da Capelinha is the living story of a family. For over two centuries, this Madeiran manor house has stood as a silent witness to times gone by. Today, Carlos, Maria da Paz, João and Isabel open its doors for the world to discover this unique place.

A Capela dos Reis Magos

16th Century. Municipal Monument of Interest.

Right next door, you will find a hidden treasure. The chapel, built in 1500, is the spiritual heart of Casa da Capelinha. The altarpiece that dominates the main altar depicts the Adoration of the Magi. Paintings dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and a Bishop of the Church complete this sacred space.

Restored by the family in 2004, it is a privilege for our guests to walk through and discover its history.
