Is it necessary to hire a car?Given our privileged location surrounded by nature and our distance of around 50 minutes from Madeira Airport and Funchal, we strongly recommend hiring a car so that you can explore the island in complete comfort. What can you visit nearby?Just a few metres from the accommodation, you will find the Natural Pools of Ponta Delgada. A short drive away, you can also visit the village of São Vicente and its volcanic caves, the stunning Laurisilva Forest via the Levada do Rei, or the mystical Fanal Forest.
